Visitors may browse the educational material without submitting a question. If someone chooses to ask for help, the information provided may include the question, contact details, general location, window measurements, photographs, and other project details shared voluntarily.

Basic technical information may also be collected through ordinary website tools, such as device type, browser, pages viewed, referral source, and general interaction patterns.

How information may be used

Information may be used to answer questions, improve educational guides, understand which topics are confusing, maintain site security, and respond when a visitor requests human or local assistance.

Private conversations are not published directly. Before question patterns are used for editorial research, identifying details should be removed and any resulting guidance should receive human review.

AI-assisted answers

The current Ask page offers guided paths to published educational material and does not presently collect questions through an AI assistant. If an AI assistant is added later, this notice will be updated before that feature begins collecting personal information.

When information may be shared

Information should be shared only with service providers needed to operate the site or with an independent local window company when the visitor specifically requests local assistance. The visitor should be clearly told before a request is passed to another business.

Windows Direct University is not intended to operate as a hidden lead-selling service. Educational value comes first, and local assistance remains optional.

Retention and security

Information should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, legal obligations, security, and service improvement. Reasonable safeguards will be used, but no online system can promise absolute security.

The current site does not use a visitor account system or a public question-submission form. Ordinary hosting and security logs may still be processed by Webflow and related service providers. This notice will be updated before new analytics, advertising cookies, forms, or similar tracking tools are added.
